Guest Teacher Pamela Gooria, E-RYT
Pamela Gooria is a yoga teacher with the Art of Living Foundation and gives workshops to individuals, institutions and companies. Her teachings are based on the ancient traditions of yoga and meditation that she received under the guidance of world renowned spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. She is also certified in Ashtanga Yoga and in Sivananda Yoga. Since 2012, Pamela is the co-owner of Om West and of Studio Zen-Den, two successful yoga studios in Montreal. Over the years, Pamela has been involved in service projects with the Art of Living Foundation. She is also the founder of McGill University’s first Yoga Club, providing students with yoga and stress reduction techniques. Pamela specializes in classical hatha yoga. She is a chef like no other and regularly offers vegan cooking classes to the delight of all. Pamela has pushed the limits of yoga by eliminating her myopia and need for glasses simply by practising eye yoga daily for one year. Pamela, a former robotics engineer, left her corporate career in 2010 to share her lifelong passion for yoga with everyone.
Pamela’s Philosophy
Pamela brings a deep spiritual dimension to her yoga classes. Her calm, radiant presence is sufficient for students to feel wonderful right from the start. Pamela’s classes are taught in a friendly non-competitive environment allowing students to move beyond their physical bodies and tap into higher states of consciousness.
Workshops
In this workshop, Pamela will share how she completely eliminated her myopia and improved the health of her eyes with a specific series of daily eye yoga exercises and practices.
