Embodying Your Greatness With Teresa Biggs
This week will be designed to help you (re)align with your authentic self to discover your true & unique purpose.
We will excavate & clear away all that no longer serves you; whether it be emotions, physical toxins or old mental patterns. This is an opportunity to retreat into the depths of your body, mind, & spirit. Through a program modeled after the tenants of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the retreat will offer: classes, meditation, acupuncture, energy work, and a clean eating diet. We will learn in layers where each day will feature a new theme that will build upon and carry through to the overall theme of Embodying Your Greatness. With the direction of Acupuncture Physician, Teresa Biggs, each attendee will learn valuable tools to expand and embody their creative potential, even as they continue their journey at home. Leave refreshed and rejuvenated with a lighter body, clearer mind, & revitalized spirit.
Surrounded by breathtaking ocean views and rain forests, Anamaya Resort is located in a Blue Zone, one of only five in the world. The characteristics of the Blue Zones are similar to the tenants of Traditional Chinese Medicine. People in these areas live longer, happier, & healthier lives. Join us this April as we tap into & utilize the energy of nature and spring time. A time for new beginnings, a time of rebirth & emerging from our cocoon to nurture our soul and spread our wings.

Guest Yoga Teacher Karen O’Connor
Karen will be our guest teacher for the week of April 5-12, 2014. After over a decade of practicing yoga, Karen has come to the conclusion that she loves it deeply, both as a teacher and a student. However, this love is not due to the length of time spent practicing, but from the first moment she stepped onto her mat. With the feeling of that mat under her feet, yoga is the one constant regardless of life’s ups and downs, age, time, financial situation…yoga is there. Karen also loves to paint, food, music, nature, the ocean and traveling. She has been teaching for 2 years in Costa Rica.
Karen’s credentials include:
- 200 hour yoga teacher training with Jackie Chiodo at Anamaya
- Yin yoga teacher training in Whistler, Canada with Bernie Clark
- And many additional workshops taught by Meghan Currie
- Local Guest Yoga Teacher – Anamaya
